1. How can I register on parkingmate?
Get your first 50 parkingpoints for free if you register now on Registration.aspx. Signing up takes not more than 60 seconds, after which you can rent available parkingspaces from the community and make yours available to it.
2. Activate your parkingmate profile
After completing the short sign-up process, you’ll have to activate your profile by clicking on the link we just sent to your email inbox. We do this to protect your privacy.
3. Register your car on parkingmate
Without a car, nobody needs a parkingspace. Therefore, register your car in your profile. Parkingmate needs this data to make sure that only you park on the parking spaces you will rent.

4. Make your parking space available to the community
Parkingmate needs your parking space. Only with your help, parkingmate will become what it wants to be: the largest parking space sharing community in the internet. The more parking spaces our users (YOU!) make available, the better the community works as everybody will always find a suitable place to park his car. PS: You don’t necessarily need to call a parking space your own to be able to rent one from the community – but it would of cours be nice and all other users will say thank you!

5. Release your parking space for booking
In order to appear as free and a space to rent, your parking space needs to be released for renting. You can do this on your parkingmate profile in a few easy steps. Choose date and time, when you want to make it available to the community. Note that you can only do this at most for the next three months. After this period, you will have to release your parking space again.

6. Search for parking spaces
There we go: You’re ready to use parkingmate! Search for an available space where you need to go on http://en.parkingmate.net/ParkingSpaceSearch.aspx. You can enter your destination adress and choose a distance to it in which parking spaces will be searched for in the database.
7. Book a parking space
Have you found a suitable parking space at your destination? Good, book it by selecting the date and time when you need it. Confirm your selection and print out the PDF we will send to you by email. Please don’t forget to put the PDF under the front window of your car.
8. How to park
When you park your car on the previsously booked parking space, please take care oft wo things:
1) Please remember to put the print out of your booking confirmation which we emailed to you under your front window.
2) Please make sure to arrive and leave on time as there are other parkingmate user who maybe would like to use the parking space right after you have. Nothing is more annoying than another car standing on your reserved parking space.
